ReQuTech AB has made a name for itself for its expertise in satellite communication technology. The company has developed into an internationally recognized player in its field. With a focus on research, technology development and consultancy, as well as product development, ReQuTech delivers high-performance and reliable solutions.
ReQuTech AB was founded in Stockholm in 2009 and established in Linköping three years later. At the office in Mjärdevi, we meet one of the founders and one of three partners, Omid Sotoudeh, who leads the business with 17 employees. He explains that ReQuTech is a specialist in satellite communication technology.
– We develop high-performance and reliable solutions in this area. We focus on research, technology development and consultancy regarding antennas and electromagnetics, as well as product development, which allows us to deliver integrated terminals for LEO, MEO and GEO satellite communication, says Omid.
Stable and secure
ReQuTech develops communication equipment that creates links between users, who can often be the Armed Forces, police or rescue services, who can thereby communicate and receive large amounts of data wherever they are on Earth.
– We offer systems that work where mobile phones do not, for example at sea and in the air, or in other places that lack mobile phone coverage. At the same time, the communication link is completely secure against eavesdropping. This could, for example, be a situation where a base station has been knocked out, explains Omid Sotoudeh.
Standard solutions and customized products
ReQuTech designs and develops its own solutions that are then produced and assembled in Sweden, and delivered to customers more or less all over the world. These are advanced satellite terminals that follow set industry standards, but also customized solutions according to customer needs. ReQuTech has various patents for the technology and equipment they represent.
– We may be a relatively small, Swedish company, but we are known internationally, not least among the major satellite operators. In 2025, we have grown significantly so far, demand and interest in our solutions is constantly increasing, not least internationally, concludes Omid Sotoudeh.
